Excellent show, terrible drive in
I love this venue and have been going to shows at Westfair Amphitheater for a few years. Something needs to be done with the traffic coming into event parking. We missed two of the bands we wanted to see because we were in line OVER AN HOUR. I bought two tickets for a show I only got to see part of, although I love all the big names that are brought in.
Thankfully, we got parked and into the venue before Mudvayne started, but it cut it very close. The staff at the merch booth were friendly and helpful, security was fantastic, and set up and tear down seemed to go smoothly. The venue itself was excellent, which is something considering how involved AJ Wilkerson's stage set up is! The two headliners were very obvious professionals and it was a banger of a show.
In short, plan accordingly for the traffic into the venue if you are going to a show here, or you might end up a little disappointed. But the rest is great.
